The evening began with poems read in tribute to the late poet, Quinton Duval, for whom the series is named. “October Air” read by Sarah Phealan and “Fishing” read by Dennis Schmitz, put everyone in the mood for the evening to follow. And an amazing array of poems came – thick and fast – speaking of nature and its many glories, interwoven with the paths of men and women.
A pleasant half hour of chatting with the poets, purchasing poetry books and enjoying light refreshment followed. We hope that you will not miss the next of our poetry evenings, Thursday, November 14th, when poets Al Garcia and Heather Hutcheson will read at Logos Books, beginning at 7:30 pm.
